الْجِذْر (The Root)
- • Understand the fundamental DNA of Arabic grammar through six essential grammatical states.
- • Recognize the Past, Present, and Command forms of any verb.
- • Identify the Doer and the Receiver of an action from a single root pattern.
- • The first 5 forms have a pattern (قِيَاسِي - Qiyāsī).
- • Verbal Nouns (اِسْم مَصْدَر) are often (سَمَاعِي - Samā‘ī). Their meaning depends on traditional usage by Arabic speakers.

Self-Actions (فِعْل لَازِم) don't have an Ism Mafool because the action stays with the doer and doesn't pass to a receiver!
فِعْل لَازِم (Self-Actions)
Intransitive
Actions that stay with the doer. They don't pass to anyone else.
فِعْل مُتَعَدِّي (Object-Actions)
Transitive
Actions that need a receiver to be complete.

قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُهُ (18:37)
His companion said to him

He loves the doers of good
നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അവൻ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു
يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ (2:213)
He guides whom He wills
താൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവരെ അവൻ സന്മാർഗത്തിലാക്കുന്നു
Command Forms
اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ (96:1)
Read in the name of your Lord
നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വായിക്കുക
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ (112:1)
Say, He is Allah, One
പറയുക: അവൻ അല്ലാഹു ഏകനാകുന്നു
أَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ (2:43)
Establish prayer
നമസ്കാരം നിലനിർത്തുക
آتُوا الزَّكَاةَ (2:43)
Give zakah
സകാത്ത് നൽകുക

عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ (6:73)
Knower of the unseen and the witnessed
അദൃശ്യവും ദൃശ്യവും അറിയുന്നവൻ
اللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ (12:21)
Allah is predominant
അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ വിജയിയാകുന്നു
اللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ (2:153)
